My beauty products and make up wishlist:
1. Tatcha violet-C brightening serum
Serums that contain vitamin C is my new thing now. For its brightening benefits, it reduces hyper pigmentation and evens the skin tone.
Also, it promotes collagen production which helps preventing skin sagging. It soothes sunburns even protects the skin from sun damage.
2. Maybelline SuperStay Ink Crayon Lipstick
They claim that the lipstick last up to eight hours. Longevity is what I look for in a lipstick.
It contains 12 shades. The shades are from nudes to berries and bright reds. My favorite shade is seek adventure. It is the perfect pink shade.
It is very pigmented and creamy formula.
3. Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Longwear Foundation
It comes in 44 shades. That’s a big variety of shades. But choose a shade lighter as it oxidize.
Gives you a full coverage, poreless finish and besides that it is weightless.
This foundation contains two magical complexes. One is mosscelltec no. 1 and it suppose to hydrate by 216%.
And the other is called magic replexium and it reduces up to 22% of wrinkles.
Also, there is a tech called air-cool technology for an instant fresh feeling.
4. Sunday Riley A+ high dose retinoid serum
A large concentrate of retinoid and retinoid like botanicals of 6.5 percent.
These botanicals reduces redness and any flaking that retinoid might cause.
The botanicals are Hawaiian white honey, bisabolol, ginger, and prickly pear cactus.
It is suitable for all skin types. Even sensitive skin type. For a potent retinoid I would like to see how my sensitive combination skin will react to it.
I would love to try it and share my results and review it in my blog.
The suggested usage of the beauty product is to use on clean dry skin, two days on and two days off. And working your way up to every other day then daily. And of course, use it in the evening. Followed with a moisturizer.
5. Maybelline New York Snapscara
What draw my attention to maybelline mascara is that it is wax free which makes washing it off an easy task.
It comes in five shades which I love them all by the way. These shades are: pitch black, ultra violet, deja blue, black cheery and bold brown.
It is affordable price makes it more desirable. I’m considering buying the mascara. I would love to try it.
6. Yves Saint Laurent Volupté tint-in-balm
It is a lip plumper with a high shine colors. It is a high end lipstick.
The yves saint laurent volupté lip balm has a heart shaped center contains peppermint oil and caprilyl glycol which provides an instant plumping for your lips.
It hydrates you lips as well. The color is buildable.
Anything lips plumping is in my alley. I would love to give it a try.
7. NYX Professional Makeup Setting Spray Matte Finish
It suppose to make your makeup stay longer and take away that powdery look. And I wonder if it will keep my face matte.
I would love to try if especially under humidity climate. And see if it will make my makeup stay longer and oil free.
I heard people compare it to urban decay all nighter. They same it is similar effect but the NYX is more affordable.
8. Charlotte Tilbury instant look in a face and eye palette
I just love to have this palette in my hands. The colors are stunning.
The cheek, eyes, face all in one palette is absolutely necessary. You can take it everywhere with you for its compatibility.
It contains 7 shades. Three for the eyes, two for cheeks, a bronzer and a highlight. The eyes colors are two shimmers and a matte color. The colors are pinkish to maroon shades.
For the cheeks a rose pink color and a champagne pink blush. Also, a sun kissed bronzer. And last a golden highlight.
I don’t know if it is available still because it is limited edition.
9. REN Clean screen mineral SPF 30
It contains zinc oxide which works as a barrier to UVA and UVB rays. As well as blue light.
It contains yellow passion fruit seed extract works as an antioxidant.
It also, contains rice starch which is for controlling shine and minimising pores.
It is silicone free. non nano. Clean.
Some people complain about the white cast that it leaves on your skin. But when I read the instructions on how to use it, they recommend you mix it with your moisturizer or foundation and use a dime size amount, so it can be applicable very smoothly.
10. Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser
One word to describe it is calming. This butter cleanser turns into an oil which melts your makeup. At first you use it on a dry face then you add water to activate it.
It comes with a magnetic spoon. It contains virgin marula oil, kiwi, strawberry seed blend and other ingredients.
It is gluten free, vegan, no fragrance or essential oils. And no silicone.
It is for all skin types. Add little water to your fingertips to activate the oil.
It is gentle, does not burn the eyes. It takes out waterproof makeup.
The texture is thick balm. It contains sunflower seed oil and sweet almond oil.
It comes with bamboo booster (bamboo + charcoal powder)
11. Diorshow On Stage Liner
Filt tip waterproof liquid eyeliner. Available in vinyl, matte, and pearl colors which are matte black, matte pop green, matte blue, matte brown, matte white, matte purple, matte red, matte pop blue, matte yellow, matte pink, matte rusty.
And vinyl black, pearly turquoise, pearly bronze.
12. Elizabeth Arden Retinol Ceramide Capsules Line Erasing Night Serum
It contains green tea, sunflower seed oil, peptides, avocado and olive oil.
It is encapsulated to protect its ingredients from light and air to keep its potency.
Ceramides are high on the ingredient list but retinol is in the bottom of the ingredient list. One of the last four ingredients. This is good if you are looking for low amount of retinol and lots of ceramide.
13. Neutrogena Hydro Boost Whipped Body Balm
It contains hyaluronic acid. But it comes at the end of the product ingredients just before the last ingredient.
It is absorbing whipped cream, doesn’t leave any residue.
Ultra light contains fragrance.
It contains petrolatum and dimethicone which makes skin softer and smoother.
I can say the price is very affordable.
14. The Ordinary’s Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution
It contains Alpha Hydroxyl Acid (AHA), Tasmanian pepperberry derivative, Ginseng root and Aloe Vera. And it contains amino acids.
It’s a chemical exfoliate that brighten skin and help with dead skin to reveal a new skin faster. It also minimizes pores.
PH of 3.6 and PKa 3.6 so there is a balance which will balance the acidity.
It’s alcohol free, oil free, nut free, silicone free, gluten free, cruelty free, vegan, fragrance free though it contains rose water.
You need sun protection especially when using this toner because your skin will be sensitive to sun exposure. So sunscreen is best way to protect your skin.
15. Crest 3D professional effects white strips
Removes teeth stains in just 30 minutes a day for 20 days. Each pack of strips contains two strips, the shorter one is for the bottom teeth and the longer one is for the top teeth.
Contains Hydrogen Peroxide. Use it on your teeth avoiding the gums because it might cause sensitivity.
16. The Ordinary – vitamin C suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2%
It doesn’t absorb quickly and leaves skin shiny so preferably use it at night.
I’m thinking to mix it with a moisturizer to reduce the tingling and pat it on my face.
It has a gritty texture to it. It is potent stable form of vitamin C.
It is antioxidant, reverse the signs of aging.
Affordable price.
17. Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder
It sets makeup for 12 hours. It blurs fine lines and pores.
It is matte, smooth, silky finish blends well with skin naturally.
It locks makeup in place. Absorbs excess oil.
Great for touch up through out the day.
18. Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo
Paraben-free, sulfate-free, silicone-free and color safe.
For clean fresh hair, does not leave a build up.
Quick easy fix for dirty hair.
19. Tom Ford Soleil Glow Bronzer in color Terra
It is true to be expensive product but would love to try it.
Matte, satin finish. What is to hate about this bronzer except its price.
Terra is a nice neutral color. That gives a flawless and natural finish. Would look amazing on my skin tone.
20. Alpha skin care renewal body lotion 12% glycolic alpha hydroxy acid (AHA)
Anti-aging to reveal younger lookin skin.
Fragrance free glycolic acid body lotion at 12% and a pH of 4.
Supports collagen production.
Chemical exfoliate for quicker cell turnover.
Penetrates the skin and could cause irritation.
Use mineral sunscreen during the day to prevent irritating skin.
