Its been a while since I did an empties. Here is another empties blog where I will talk about reviewing used products. I’ll talk about what I liked and what not and if I will repurchase or not.

I simply review these products because I love some of these beauty products and I see it working or because I found these beauty products are ineffective and waste of money.

This is my honest opinion about these beauty products.

I make sure not to accumulate so much empties to do a review. I’ll go through everything and give a little review and wither I’ll repurchase it or not. Also, tell you which is my favorite.

I have a mix of make up, skincare, and perfumes to review.

The body shop Vitamin C

Skin boost instant smoother

With Vitamin C rich camu camu from amazonian rainforest, Peru

What I like about the body shop products is that it contains different ingredients from all over the world which makes it unique.

It is for dull, tired, grumpy skin.

It gives a silky smooth finish which I like.

Vitamin C is known for it antioxidant and brightening the skin.

It mattifies the skin and I apply it after moisterizing which gives me a smooth base.

It can be used as a primer before make up. It preps the skin with a smooth touch.

I didn’t see any difference in my skin in elasticity or brightening. I only recommend it for it silky smooth base.

Bioderma sebium mat moisturizing mattifying fluid

For combination / oily skin

This fluid moisterizes my skin well but it is not mattifying my T-zone. So I can say it is just a nice moisterizer, nothing more nothing less.

It contains silica and micro-pearls, zinc gluconate, vitamin B6, and AHA esters.

It didn’t tighten my pores and I didn’t notice a cellular renewal.

It has a powdery finish to it but it didn’t last as my skin gets oily.

Olay natural white

All-in-one fairness day cream

SPF 24

This cream left a white cast and balled up on me so I used it as a hand cream.

And for its whitening property I didn’t notice any whitening on my hands.

I don’t recommend it and I won’t repurchase it.

Batiste dry shampoo blush

It works! This batiste dry shampoo works well on greasy hair. It leaves a white residue that you can brush it off with a brush.

Another con is when you brush off the white residue, it transfers into your clothes and everywhere which leaves a big mess.

I am a brunette. So, the white cast doesn’t look appealing to the eyes. I have to brush it off left and right backwards and forwards in order to get the white residue off.

What I noticed is the day I use the dry shampoo I have to wash my hair the next day though. Because I would feel a film on my hair the next couple of days.

I used the blush so the scent is floral and pleasing for me.

I use it as it recommends on the bottle. I shake the bottle so adequately and then section my hair and spray 12 inches away as recommended on my roots. Then I massage it with my fingertips, leave it for few minutes then I brush and style my hair.

I noticed that the batiste dry shampoo adds volume to my hair.

Boots tea tree & witch hazel shine control day moisturizer

I love this gel like moisturizer. My skin loves it. It contains the antibacterial tea tree oil and the calming witch hazel.

It does really control shine. It leaves a matte finish on the skin.

I used it along with the cleanser. The tea tree & witch hazel foam face wash. Then I will apply the tea tree & witch hazel shine control day moisturizer on my skin and it will dry on fast.

The moisturizer keeps the shine away for quite some time up to eight hours which is idealistic. It becomes part of my skin care morning routine.

I only recommend this tea tree & witch hazel shine control day moisturizer for oily skin. It does help with the shine. Besides the price is very cheap.

Avène thermal spring water spray

Avène thermal spring water spray calms sensitive skin. I recommend it 100% it soothes the skin. It also refresh the skin.

It can be used post workout to calm the skin. It can be used for kids too.

It is perfect for rosacea prone skin. It definitely calms the redness.

It does moisture the skin as well. I like to use it in my skin care regimen.

After cleansing my skin, I apply this facial mist on my face and leave it for 2-3 minutes and then pat dry as recommended.

It is perfect for a pick me up and refreshing the skin while traveling. But be aware to take the small bottle with you when traveling by airplane.

Couture couture perfume by juicy couture for women

Key notes: top notes are Mandarin orange, African orange flower, and grapefruit.

Middle notes are Jasmine, honeysuckle and plum.

Base notes are amber, vanilla and Sandalwood.

Couture couture perfume has a sweet floral scent to it. I feel it is a feminine scent.

I like it, I recommend it and I would repurchase again.

Clarins extra firming day cream SPF 15

The Clarins day cream was okay. I didn’t like it that vastly. I didn’t like the oiliness it coats my skin. It left me with a shiny complexion.

It is for all skin types but it definitely not for my combination skin.

Maybe it is suitable for dry skin type more than combination to oily skin.

The only aspect I liked is its scent. It has a calming soothing delicate scent not overpowering.

The Clarins extra firming day cream did not firm my skin. I did not notice any firming results to my skin. Even that I used it all to the last drop.

It’s price is high and not worth it. I don’t recommend it and I will not repurchase.

Hollywood Style Herbal Formulas whitening lotion for knees, elbows & body

With papaya juice and glycolic acid. It is made for parts that are darker like knees and elbows.

I noticed that my skin did not get brighter especially on those areas like knees and elbows. I used it daily after shower.

I really don’t recommend it and I won’t repurchase again.

I thought that the papaya juice and the glycolic acid will do the trick but it did not do any brightness to my body.

Vichy Laboratories Déodorant Minéral

Without aluminum salts, alcohol-free, paraben-free. It is a roll-on deodorant suitable for women and men. Perfect for all skin types. It doesn’t irritate the skin.

I like the fragrance, it is not overpowering. It is efficient for 48 h.

Magnesium oxide provides a long lasting odor control for up to 48 h.

Panthenol helps to sooth the skin and relieve irritation.

So here you have it my empties.

These are my empties that I have accumulated. Now I have an idea what to repurchase and what not.
